Lumen (Light)
Lumen, or the "Room with Eyes," is a charming space that seems to gaze in wonder at the citadel and the village. From inside, its oval green-framed windows reveal two views of a corner of the world that has remained unchanged for centuries. From the outside, these windows give this centuries-old house a sense of personality and life. This room is friendly, elegant, with sloped attic walls, a queen-size bed, and a small oak desk. If you want to read or relax, you’ll be drawn to the low sofa by the window, perfect for reading, or to the very comfortable beanbag. The room has a youthful energy and a serene atmosphere that never tires you. Lumen is the place where your inner light grows.

Nemus (Garden)
Spacious and restful, this room was where the Saxons used to sleep together. It’s especially delightful for nature lovers, offering a wonderful view of the garden. The queen-size bed and unique desk are made from the signature solid oak, carefully rounded. The windows are new but fully respect the original design. We’ve preserved everything we could: the old shutters, inviting you on summer afternoons to close them and enjoy a peaceful, cool nap; a sturdy old beam still very much intact; and a wall detail typical of Saxon houses. Like all the rooms, Nemus charms with its simplicity, natural materials, and discreet elegance, creating a sense of balance with nature. Small porcelain details, such as the light switches and hand-painted light fixtures, evoke the garden, the hills, and the forests. This is the room for those who long for the pure green of nature and a peaceful, restful sleep.

Nidus (Nest)
This is the smallest room, yet it makes you feel completely at ease. Its perfectly comfortable size is just one of the reasons we affectionately call it the "Nest." It is intimate, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere—an almost magical place to retreat, reconnect with yourself, and feel protected. It’s a great space for creativity, reflection, and inspiration, where ideas grow and thoughts and feelings clarify. It has a 140cm bed, a small oak desk, and above it, a window offering a lovely view of the garden, traditional rooftops, and the sky. Like all our rooms, the Nest is crafted with care using natural and healthy materials—gentle and thoughtful, always considering the guest’s comfort.

Pax (Peace)
This is the largest room, always kept neat and beautiful by the Saxons, ready to welcome guests. Some windows face the street, offering a view of the Alma Vii Fortified Church, while others look out onto the garden. All the windows and shutters are original, as are the solid oak beams, which add to the room’s charm. Spacious and comfortable, it features a king-size bed, a sofa, an armchair, a table with chairs, and a fireplace with traditional Mediaș tiles (used only in winter). Step onto the traditional woven rugs and the fine, polished wood floors and begin to feel the essence of the house. Everywhere you look, natural materials create a pleasant ambiance: solid wood, healthy plasters and paints, cotton, linen, and wool. The porcelain switches and hand-painted light fixtures show our attention to detail and, above all, our respect for guests. The coolness of the room is a delight on summer days.
